Noah's Volcano

With school out, our Noah bug is BORED! For something to do, we did a little project! He made a Volcano! First he made the Volcano out of salt dough:

mix 3 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 tbsp oil
1-2 cups water
mix dough together with your hands until a good play dough consistency

Noah built his volcano around a soda can we cut the top out with a can opener to make a smooth edge. Then we had to wait for it to dry, which took a few days. We would have put it out in the sun, but it has been forever raining! (And Noah wanted to wait for Paul to be home from work for the big eruption.)

For the eruption:
baking soda
a few drops of red/orange food coloring
a few drops of dish soap
white vinegar

Stand back and enjoy the foaming eruption!

I might have to do that with my kids!!! If it weren't for our pool and their bikes we would be pulling out hair out with boredom! Your boys are so cute!
