Just a little update...

Well, life has been busy lately... school has begun again and both Noah and Max love it! Noah is in 3rd grade this year he is in Mr. Brinkerhoff's class. Max is in preschool again he loves Miss Becky!
This is one of my favorite tubby pictures. I just love the expression on her face as I am washing her hair.
Kaya has had many visitors lately. My sister Heidi and her family surprised us all with a visit. It was so good to spend a little time with them. Thanks for coming Heidi! We love you sooo much. Heidi made her this pink pettiskirt and darling headband. She looks so damn cute in it!
.
We also had a visit from Great Grandma and Grandpa Murdock

Kaya is doing well. She had her appt. with the surgeon from Primary's about her diaphram. Good news, he does not feel it needs to be operated on. He said she should just grow with it and that it will likely not cause her any problems. Yay! All those prayers out there are working!
Yesterday we saw the Pediatric Cardioligist and the Audioligist. Both appointments were back to back which means an afternoon at the hospital. Kaya got to have an EKG. She was hooked up with all kinds of wires. She was so good, she just laid there, and looked at her daddy. The Pediatric Cardioligist said that the 2 holes in her heart should close on their own around age 4 or 5. She also said that her heart is a normal size for her body which is good. She wants to see her again at 3 months, to make sure she is still doing well. If she is not growing and gaining weight then we would look more at the heart. Babies with heart problems are less active so we will be sure to make sure that she is doing well. More good news! She also passed her hearing test! Another YAY! Thanks again for all the prayers you have said in her behalf. We are so blessed to have her with us. She is just so precious.

Kaya loves her daddy. She has her fussy time at night when we are hoping to go to bed. All Paul has to do is pick her up and she settles right down. She completely calms down when he picks her up and talks to her. I know he secretly LOVES that she is a daddy's girl.
Not to mention how much her brothers adore her. We tried to do a little photo shoot but she was not super happy. Max was on binki duty and Noah was on soothing talk duty. They love her so.

Les, I made the quilt with the help of my awesome sis in law Heidi who has a long arm quilting machine business. Basically she quilted it and I bound it. I went with red/yellow/blue for her room:)

Ohhh, love the pictures! You can just tell by the boys (all of them) faces how much they love her. She has made a huge difference in all of our lives already.
Thanks for letting me tend the other night. I LOVED IT!

What a sweet little pink thing. Love her to pieces.
We had a wonderful time with the boys on Sunday. Just can't beat Yellowstone and grandkids.
