After 7 months of continual beard growth, Paul has had enough! It is time to shave it off! He can't handle "eating in public" where everything gets in his beard. I am also getting tired of kissing him, and getting a mouthfull of pokey hairs. So for the big shaving of the beard event, Paul found a special book at a bookstore in SunValley, Idaho called "The Runaway Beard" by David Schiller. It comes with a fake beard just for the kids. It's a cute story about when dad shaves off his beard, but the beard isn't happy and ends up all over several objects in the house. Until it finds a new home. But the part I love best is the end, where dad is already thinking about growing another one.
