Flash Flood!


Paul was lucky to snap these shots on his Grand Canyon trip. They are of Indian Creek flash flooding. They camped right next to it. The next morning, the water had calmed, and it was all finished flashing, you can see the Tamarisk bushes that were torn out, also notice how much sand was eroded away. Mother Nature is astounding! What power there is in water!

Wow!! That is kind of spooky! We always think we will have time to get out of the way or can out manuver mother nature, but just looking at these pictures makes me realize we are so clueless!! Glad you were'nt "in" that Paul. However I do see several great flat rocks!! he-he

Those pictures are awesome. I can't belive all that is going on in the world right now. So paul you better be ready.... you know lots of floods, hurricanes, fires , earthquakes. ect.
