Since it is 100 degrees outside, and it is the middle of July, I thought this would be something "cool to blog". Paul and Noah (mostly Paul) built a super sweet igloo this last winter. It was huge.
He used a huge cooler that had sat outside since the last summer campout (opps! kinda forgot to put that away). All of the neighbor kids were over while he slaved away packing snow into the cooler and building the igloo around and around, until he capped off the top.
All of us could fit inside, and I could even stand up inside. It lasted all winter, it was the last thing to melt. We spent a few nights in it with a candle and some hot cocoa.
Max especially loved the entrance. You had to lay flat on your tummy and use your toes to scoot inside. (It reminded me a little of the nutty putty caves entrance). He didn't really know what we were doing to him. Here we are outside at night in full snow gear laying him on the ground and scooting him inside the igloo. It was a fun little getaway. What an addition to the old backyard! You better get ready to build another one this winter Pauly!

That looks like so much fun. And what a cool Igloo! Hey it even cooled me off way in Hawaii. Now i need to go chance my little mower man, who is mowing the neighbors yard!! Love you
oh, just looking at the entrance (and thinking of nutty putty) makes me claustrophobic...
That is wonderful! If only we had some of that now! Ashlyne asked when we could go sledding in the back yard? She is on the same wave length! Love the igloo!
Nice Igloo! Ah, I am cooling down already. It's 104 in Idaho, and I'm in a uniform. I really wish H--- would freeze over soon. Caz it's hot!!! :) Jared
